AlextheMovieGeek created an incredible hand-built Cthulhu costume for Halloween. He built numerous plaster molds of his body, then hand-sculpted clay over them and poured latex into the molds. The head was made using an entirely clay sculpted mold over a styrofoam head form. Alex managed to make the entire thing for under $300, but his time and effort were clearly the main expense.
